Originally from Oregon and spending several years in Spain, Lorien moved to the east coast in 2011. She recently graduated from Vermont College of Fine Arts with her Masters in Art & Design Education and is thrilled to be an art educator in Vermont! Lorien loves collaborating with other educators and creating educational experiences for students that are meaningful, thought-provoking, and sometimes just fun. Lorien’s graduate studies centered around inclusivity in the art classroom for LGBTQ+ students.
